All hail KROMM.
Hmmm Leaving out the relavant quote seems a bit of a cheap tactic...

Hey, with gas prices the way they are, cheap tactics are all we can afford. At least, until the Brotherhood of Kromm's miracles start to include turning water into petroleum ....

Brethren, be kind to each other. For, as is said in Spilaramál (Sayings of the Gamer):

Quote:
Young was I once,
alone with my books,
and bewildering they seemed to me;
then I found the forum
and rich I thought me,
for gamer is gamer's joy.

Incidentally, though, would you mind retaining the six line structure of the original? It's kind of one of the distinguishing characteristics of the form.

Fixed. What would "Sayings of the Gamer" be in Icelandic?

'Leikmannamál', I guess. Although we could play with it as we pleased to derive 'Spilaramál', 'Leikmannaþáttur Spilamála' or something else.

I'll go with 'Spilaramál'. 'Leikmannamál' sounds too much like 'layman' to me (as it should - that's where it's derived from).

Do you know of any other saying from 'Spilaramál'? :)

I'm sorry, I didn't quite hear that. What did you say again?

So many people with talent are dying these days. So let us praise one person with talent (well, some talent, anyways) who is still alive!

Hail KROMM!
