I am persuaded by folks on this thread - especially whswhs, who of course wrote Social Engineering, including the rule about Sense of Duty giving a bonus to Will rolls in resisting Interrogation that that gave me the idea in the first place - that SoD shouldn't give a bonus to Berserk rolls to resist attacking friends.
But I do think that there should be a perk: Will Never Hurt [Named Friend, Ally, Dependent, Whatever]. Spending one point to have a special immunity to attacking one person seems about right to me, and it's 50% of the points you'd get back to have a SoD to one person. Spend one of 'em to make that SoD matter, given your other mental/emotional problems. |

Nope, that was Chris' pacifist viking. He eventually died in that game's finale post big-bad death when he had to make 4 more death rolls without Berserk.
Grimr didn't have Berserk, did he?
