Spikes
I know the card tells you to roll 2 blue dice, but am I right there is nothing about direct damage to the tires?
The blue die, of course, does not have a wrench symbol on it. But I imagine you could say any hit = tire damage. |

Re: Spikes
Remember: The Spikes card uses black dice, not blue.

Re: Spikes
And the rules language on driving rolls says that wrenches on driving rolls are always tire damage, so the tire damage comes from the black dice (which are 2/3rd wrenches).

Re: Spikes
And also for driving rolls, skids are usually bad!
For spikes (black die), I would treat skid as a miss. But should star be tire damage (like a wrench) or a miss? |

Re: Spikes
Ah, I must need more light in the room. :) I can't see the difference enough for black and blue enough. That's the second times here with questions thats been the answer. LOL!
OK. So it is auto tire damage. I just thought there would be an intuitive symbol on the card like normal. Thanks all! |

Fortunately, with the weapons, different die colors are in different fixed spots in the dice column. Unfortunately, blue and black are right next to each other! (And where I expect to play, the lighting is kind of dim.) This is going to be an on-going issue for many, many players! I appreciate figuring out now that there is an issue. |

Re: Spikes
Treat spikes like any other Hazard. Wrenches do Tire damage. The Skid takes away one of your Control Tokens. Star does nothing during driving rolls. You have to have at least one chance at being safe.
