This is very disappointing. Everyone seems to be getting their wishlist items published while my beloved GURPS Silly Hats and Itchy Shawls goes totally unnoticed, tread upon by the likes of unimportant books like GURPS Low-Tech.

You're on notice, SJgames.

As I've said before, the Bonnet Design System is a complex, math-heavy book and it's very important to get it exactly right so all the millinery fans don't get upset, so it's taking a long time to incorporate comments from playtest, let alone edit. Fluff pieces like Low-Tech are simply faster and easier to produce.

I think that plan fell through when they couldn't get permission to publish Captain Stubing's character sheet.

They're using generic bald skipper stats. You can do Stubbing, Picard, even (with a lens) Alan Hale Jr.

GCCoI is about bulk frozen foods and other commercial restaurant supplies. The playtest manuscript was titled GURPS Catering; I suppose the name change was a marketing decision.
