Default Inconsistency: Summoned Creatures vs Their Natural Counterparts

I searched but I couldn't find anyone else mentioning this.

Some summoned creatures in AW are not consistent with the writeups in ITL. For example, summoned wolf fur doesn't stop 1 hit, summoned gargoyle skin doesn't stop 3 hits. Are the new version's summoned creatures consistent with the natural creature writeups?

I though it said something about summoning a regular wolf/gargoyle, etc., whether it directly states their armor or other specifics.

I am sure the intention is an indistinguishable animal, and we always played it that way.

Actually, AW lists everything but armor for the gargoyle and the ITL listing for gargoyles doesn't give the MA, so you actually have to merge both sources to get a complete gargoyle :).

Yeah, we just filled in any missing stats where needed, but those are important missing bits for new players who haven't memorized such things yet. Especially if someone started a gargoyle PC and thought they'd have a walking MA of 10.

Those are not intentional. "Indistinguishable" is the goal. Going now to see if those omissions are in the current draft, and fix.

Edit: And they were, and I did. Thank you.

No problem. I thought that was the case. I didn't double check the other summoned creatures though.

If they weren´t the same, it would be a give away on their illusory status very quickly, and wouldn´t make much game sense, to boot! :)

Maybe it wasn't clear that this wasn't actually a rules question: I'm really just trying to help with the quality of the new rules.
