Hellboy has been banned for two weeks as a result of accumulated infractions.

bearcat22 has been permanently banned for personal attacks and threats of violence on a moderator and, less grotesquely, for being a sockpuppet of a thrice-banned former user. His posts have been removed by the moderation staff.

User MetalHeader has been banned for behavior consistent with spambots. We don't normally note spam bans here, just delete posts and move on, but in this case, the discussions were largely on-topic although the original poster was clearly leading in a spammy direction, so we have left most of those discussions in place.

Pirtti, pantokrator, and jtyotJOTJIPAEFVJ have all been permanently banned as sockpuppets of the previously banned user nonex.

Edited to add: I want to clarify something here. We allow ONE account per user. That includes banned accounts -- if we've permabanned you, it's because you were so disruptive to the operation of the forums that we decided we were better off without your contributions.

We do allow, and have granted, appeals from permanent bans in the past. What we don't do is allow second accounts of banned users even if those accounts are behaving themselves. If we discover that you've created a sockpuppet account to get around a permaban, not only will we ban the sock, we're almost certainly not going to listen to any appeals you might send, because you've made it clear you don't respect the rules of the forum.
