Any tips for a viable unarmed leprechaun Martial Artist for DF.
Problem is parrying weapons and hitting armor. Seems to me that the spells that the leprechaun gets are one bonus. Need to pick a spell that either grants armor or helps the leprechaun out here. Gauntlets don't seem too helpful.. though magical ones will help. Alternatively anway to give the <artial Artist claws> Is this a powerup in DF powerups? cause it would seem appropriate for an Iron hands/arms type character. |

I would recommend tackling the first large creature you see head-on. Use All-Out Attacks as much as possible.
Then, when that character is eaten, make a new martial artist who isn't a leprechaun. :)

Get Imbuements for unarmed attacks. Imbuements can help bypass armor. At the very least you can get knockback enhancement and fling around people even though they are in armor. Finally, maybe get some DR for his hands, with the limitation it only protects against injury inflicted by hitting people. That should make it quite cheap to buy.

It sounds like a character a friend of mine was going to try and play; a Pictsie Martial Artist/Monk [from Pratchett's Discworld]. The character never got built but I think that we would have really tried to find a way to get it to work.I think that we were going to build it under Gurps, but it might have been D&D 3E.

For spells Iron arm is great for parrying weapons.

Start with a savage stroke at the ankle then work up.
