60% of the way through reviewing my new book? That's fast work! I think the last one was slower going, though of course its game mechanics content was far denser. But with this rate of progress, I look forward to having a chance to think about your comments over the hols.

Isn't it normal for the first 90% to go quickly and the last 10% take up the most time?

Not when you're going through page by page. The pages at the end are often lighter work.
