As the party heads to The Caves, Bain talks to his friends:

Well, I want to share with you my findings about this map. Its paths will take us to a mountain pass, a place plagued with demons it seems; to get there we shall need climbing gear.

Now here’s my hypothesis, I theorize the mountains extend over a “ley line” or a “life-stream”. Whatever it is, this might explain why the place was sacred to orcs, conquered by humans and haunted by demons and elder-things. Its very essence makes room for all kinds of unparalleled events! What do you think?

By the way, I brought a special tool for our text visit to The Caves: A mattock. I have been thinking of ways to leverage your skills (pointing both Telrith and Vicious). I believe it is easier and cheaper to turn metal into stone, so the next time we find ourselves before a metal door, we just turn it into stone and force our way in with the mattock, right?

Regarding the loot, now that we have a cart and a wagon, I guess we can make use of the cart to move loot inside The Caves, then we load the wagon with whatever found side.

For the rest of the day Bain walks quietly and ahead of the party, moving through the woods and the shadows as if he was lost in thought, yet careful and observant.

The adventurers set out for the Caves in the morning, travelling up the trade road as per before.

The day is mild and uneventful.
(OC: No random encounter today. Eat your meals, and set up camp for the night.)

The familiar camping spot for the party's route to the Caves is happened upon right on cue, just as the night is falling. The party eats dinner and gets ready to sleep and stand guard...

Gathika hops into the wagon, and stays there for 1.5 hours.

When she comes out, she brings 3 torches and a wooden spear with her, now all of them EMIT DAYLIGHT!

I CAN ALSO MAKE LIGHT-SABERS! (=｀ω´=)

She places the torches more or less like this:

Each “torch” X is 5 yards away from the campfire © the camp has daylight in a radius of 9 or 10 yards or so. She dines and when she recharges, she casts watchdog with 9-yard radius.

I have been wondering, Vicious, your horse also deserves a name. How about SANDOR? This way there will be ARI and SANDOR. It sounds as if such names were destined to be called together.

Once the chat with the party is over, Bain heads to his watchpost.

Vic secures the area, scaring away any animals that would attract attention. He also finds plants that could be harvested for poison.
