So did I though he never bothered to learn the written versions as any contracts he may have had were in English. Upon his insistence if necessary. I'm sure that won't come back to bite him at all. :p. But yeah, fourteen spoken languages! It came in handy before.

Don't take common sense. I don't use it.

His point total seems to be a touch low, even with common sense taken.

Is there a reason he doesn't have streetwise? It seems like something he'd have. If only so he can sell what he gets. Urban survival also seems to be missing, though that's less noticeable.

What city is he from? Does he have buddies he works with, or is he solo?

It feels like he needs a planning skill to pull off his stunts: tactics, psychology, or performance. Acting alone won't allow you to influence people quite as much as the classic picket would allow them to.

Yeah no more Jordan, that world he was in was really boring to play in :] I knew there where some skills I forgot to give him and well he doesn't have a planning skill because he isn't really some big mastermind, he mostly works alone, at his worst he's a shop lifter or pickpocket or someone who runs con games with card tricks and loaded dice, and not a very good one either, just one who can still make enough to kind of live by. I guess he doesn't really need Counterfeiting, I'll make some adjustments...

You've still got common sense on there and you're still 13 points under budget. Even without spending flavor stuff.

I'll admit I struggled with Jordan. Particularly in terms of getting him to interact with things. But if the problem is the world, not the character, then by all means we can just move him on from the world. Its as simple as going to sleep.

Since you were curious about the directory, here's a link to the 1914 Kelly's Directory of Reading -- it's the 16th annual edition, so it apparently would have begun publication around 1898. :)
