Default Mirror of the Fire Demon CC3 Hex tiles

Is there a hex-shaped Campaign Cartographer 3 template for the morphing hex tiles used for encounters in GURPS Dungeon Fantasy Adventure 1: Mirror of the Fire Demon, and is it available anywhere?

I don't know of any such template. I had to build those hexes myself. However, it's not terribly difficult to do it yourself. Here's how:
  1. Create a drawing and put a hex overlay on it. Make a note of the grid spacing.
  2. Change the default color.
  3. Draw another hex overlay. Make the grid spacing a very large multiple of the spacing you used the first time around, hopefully large enough that a single hex covers more or less the whole drawing.
  4. Hide everything but the grid layer, so you see the new grid (which is probably just one hex and bits of another) superimposed over the other, nicely distinguished by the different colors.
  5. Select the large hex and use the Move/Scale/Rotate tool to nudge its position a bit, lining it up over the second grid.
This gives you a large hexagonal area encompassing the smaller hex grid. When you're putting features on the map, only place them inside the big hexagon. Once you render the drawing, you'll need to do a bit of post-processing, removing everything outside the big hex with the image editor of your choice. And, voila, hexagonal map full of hexes.

Awesome. I need to do that for random woodlands. I'm tired of drawing 3 dozen trees on vinyl.

Arts-and-crafts-suggestion - get some green construction paper, cut out woobly bush/tree shapes, put a loop of masking tape on the bottom to stick'em to the map, then you can pull them up later. Draw hex-obstrucitng trunks on them with a brown marker (or black).

Um... I think I like my idea better.... It uses this software that I paid for and stuff.
