Are there any rules for damage from being crushed under a non-falling weight.

Page 353 gives the rules for shifting or tipping over big things, and Falling Objects notes that you can get inconvenienced under something with your SM or greater regardless of weight. Other than that, p 353 also notes that carrying on your back more than 10xBL costs you 1FP/second, which is fundamentally the start of crushing someone to death.

I tend to assume Norse trolls. They're quite big and strong.

When setting a troll ST to 24 I was comparing it to a prehistoric cavebear (ST23 according to B.456). I agree that trolls from Old Norse mythology might have even higher ST. Trolls in the Eddas might very likely refer to Jotunn and Thurs (Old Norse giants), and some of those creatures challenged even the gods… A troll from Scandinavian folk-lore (c.f. John Bauer, illustrator) do not seem to be that strong.

That makes the human go splat!
So what do you all think of this: if the stone/rock/boulder hits a target, and the victim suffers a knockback (B.378), and fails to remain on his feet, he gets the stone on top of him. He then suffer the "drop-the-stone-from-either-1y-or-2y-on-your-chest"-damage.

Go to 4chan. It's flooded with trolls.

But shouldn't the stone just keep going if it's moving fast enough? Like knocking down pins in bowling. And it's not even rolling. It might knock them down and fly past them.

The troll in question had a 2 yard range with his 900-odd pound boulder. It's not going to keep going, it was by definition not moving fast enough.

If the target was significantly inside max range, that's certainly possible - but range in this case was "barely enough to not drop it on troll toes" really.
