I think it's just gear. It doesn't have to be a gadget anymore than a power item does. Also Energy Reserve with gadget limitations is probably fine; I don't see why you need Regeneration at all.

Because it was 6 points per turn. That is a major effect and healing items and the like do not simply heal, they cast a healing spell that is much worse than say 6 points of healing per turn.

They are in DF8, on p. 38

What are you talking about? Endurance Items just give a rechargeable (for money) pool of FP usable for Extra Effort.

Nice monster write-up. Have a Donuts, they're going cheap. Probably do the massive upsurge in Monster Donuts franchises popping up 8)

The example was being like power, that is points of energy per round. Powerstones would be then the comparison and makes sense.

Power Items don't give points of energy per round, they just give a pool that costs $5 a point.

Endurance Items work basically just like Power Items. Like Power Items and unlike Powerstones they don't recharge for free.

Thats my experience as well, at any powerlevle and any Tech-level. I think I'll make a new thread so not to derail this one though.

Nice monster btw. I needed a hydra for my last DF game but didn't finish it and the players luckily didn't wander into that part of the swamp anyway. But I'll be having this as back-up for next game :D
