Re: Reverse Leech
Yeah, then I'd call it Backlash. Priced at the average of One Arm and One Leg, on the assumption that she'll only likely take on one of those at a time, that's a base of -20%. The timescale is probably too short (default is 1 minute, then roll HT each minute to recover). Then again, with Fast Regen you'll be healing a crippled arm (6 HP for an average human) in just 6 minutes, so the timing isn't that far off. Somewhere between -20% and -30% is probably fair.

Re: Reverse Leech
Its not that we hate healing its that it isn't applicable to this instance.

Well, Healing can already restore even permanently crippled (but not lost) limbs, simply by healing the damage it took to cripple it. Add on Cosmic (+50% seems fair) to allow Healing to also restore lost limbs. The Backlash would be reduced in value (halved? less?) when applied to the whole Healing advantage, since it only takes effect when restoring crippled limbs. |

Re: Reverse Leech
I think the simplest way to do this is make the Leech power work in reverse...that is it transfers the "healers" hp to the "victim" with the special effect that the wounds appear to fade from victim and appear on the healer.

Re: Reverse Leech
That is exactly what Empathic Healing is. Leech has no special provisions for the other things you're looking for, transferring crippling injuries to the healer. Leech might thematically resemble a reversed healing power, but the simplest build is Healing.

Re: Reverse Leech
Ok everyone, this is what I came up with.
Healing (Contact Agent; Cosmic: No die roll required; Cure Affliction; Empathic; Mutant; Xenohealing (All Carbon-Based Life)) [69] How does the backlash work in this instance? |

Re: Reverse Leech
My suggestions here and above on Backlash shouldn't be taken as RAW, since you're not taking on a single specific affliction for a duration based on a HT roll. That said, I think -10% would be fair; it applies to a subset of the power's applications, and can potentially give some very heavy disadvantages (No Arms, No Legs) but will heal in minutes due to Regen and Regrowth. Note that you'll still need Cosmic (Rules Exemption, probably +50%) if this power can restore missing limbs.

Here is how it stacks up
Healing (Contact Agent; Cosmic: ability other than an attack or a defense (Can restore lost limbs); Cosmic: No die roll required; Cure Affliction; Empathic; Mutant; Xenohealing (All Carbon-Based Life)) [84] |
