Ah, thank you! Fixed that and also fixed some of the pistols being referred to as revolvers.

Re: Blog - One Shot Adventures - New Posts
I've been following this blog on and off for a while now and I love the attention to detail with the vtt stuff and everything. But there are so many different adventures that I'm dealing a bit with the usual overload situation when it comes to RPG stuff - namely I haven't managed to do more than scratching on the surface (reading the articles, listening to the pitch part of the videos etc.)
What are your favourites, folks? Anything that you actually played and had a great time with? I'm planning a five-hour fantasy or SF one-shot in September, so bonus points if you have something in those genres that can be done in 4-5 hours (the group is a leeetle distractible). @Thalcos: Thank you so much for sharing these. I love how they highlight the different moods / genres you can run GURPS in. I do have two minor suggestions, though. Could you include pdf exports of the character gcs sheets? GCS is a great tool, but too much of a hassle to casually insert a new data file and then reload just for checking out the npcs or pregens. Related to that, it would be cool if you could add a tag for the adventures that come with pregenerated characters. Some mention it in the file name, but I think there are probably more. And pregens are really a major time-saver. Advertise the fact!

Re: Blog - One Shot Adventures - New Posts
Sorry just saw this... I think all of the GURPS adventures have pregenerated characters in the back of the adventure, on real character sheets and everything (I almost always run these at various local conventions, so I use these quite a bit). The NPCs are always in the pdf adventure too with their stats, you shouldn't ever need the gcs files unless you want to make edits.
The ones that get downloaded and used the most include Those the Comet Bring (Atomic Horror), Thrusher Manor (haunted house), The Last Voyage of Draegr Thar (Vikings), and the Black Mine of Teihiihan (Old West). The pulp adventures are also pretty popular, and plenty of groups have run them as a trilogy. |

Re: Blog - One Shot Adventures - New Posts
This month on my adventures blog, there's a brand new GURPS pirate horror adventure - The Crown of Fetters. It's a reboot and love letter to an old AD&D Ravenloft adventure, Ship of Horrors.
The PCs play scum, criminals, and scoundrels -- forced by a British governor to work aboard a merchant ship to avoid the hangman. However, it turns out this ship and its gloomy captain are cursed. Weird events are everywhere, ghosts are watching, and the Devil himself has walked these decks. Surviving this harrowing voyage will require some bold action, cleverness... and no doubt a few cutthroat maneuvers. As always, the free adventure includes pregenerated characters, handouts, and VTT tokens and assets to make it easy for GURPS GMs to grab their friends and play. Enjoy! There are now over 35 free GURPS adventures on 1shotadventures (!), many of which cover some of GURPS' more unusual genres that might make for fun one-shots, like pulp, action, spies, historical horror, and more. There's even some solo adventures! Since there's too many fun adventures to list, check out the complete list of adventures. |

Re: Blog - One Shot Adventures - New Posts
This month on my adventures blog, there's a brand new GURPS mythic Greece adventure - The Scourge of Triton.
In this heroic adventure, the feckless King of Argos has offended Triton and in three days time a monstrous boar will ravage his kingdom unless forty children are sacrificed to the god. A band of young heroes must quickly find weapons capable of stopping the horrifying beast. Soon, they're on an epic adventure in the city, across the sea, and even into the Underworld itself. As always, the free adventure includes pregenerated characters, handouts, and VTT tokens and assets to make it easy for GURPS GMs to grab their friends and play. And it acts as a followup to The Honey Tree of Pelion, if you've played that one. Enjoy! There are now over 35 free GURPS adventures on 1shotadventures (!), many of which cover some of GURPS' more unusual genres that might make for fun one-shots, like pulp, action, spies, historical horror, and more.
