Default Does Spacecraft Handling go lower than -3 at greater sizes

Yup, it's all there in the title:
Does Spacecraft Handling go lower than -3 at greater sizes

If you mean in Spaceships, it seems to be undefined, though following the table's progression would imply that it does. On the other hand, -3 (possibly adjusted for acceleration and TL) is already fairly awful.

I would probably say "yes, it follows the pattern, down to -5", as -5/5 seems to be the largest Hnd penalty and SR I've seen in published stuff.

Ships with Hnd -5 presumably never try to dock under their own power, given that a master pilot with skill 16 is only 50:50 to succeed. Like very large oil tankers, they must confine themselves to stopping in approximately the right place, and then place themselves in the care of tugs.

This is true, and certainly a factor for extremely large ships. Warships large enough to have -4 or -5 in Hnd are probably going to be closer to mobile bases ("That's no moon."), similar in many ways to modern aircraft carriers.

Sufficiently large ships with terrible handling stop wherever they want, and make the planet orbit them.

That's no moon... it's the primary.
