Immunity to Metallic Hazards
Going through a D&D book of weapons, I found a sword that states "metallic hazards phase harmlessly through the wielder." Now, how would this best be represented as a power in GURPS? I thought about Permeation, but, that specifically does NOT protect against sudden, violent contact.

Insubstantial, switchable.
If you mean pass through the gut, universal consumption.

Insubstantial, reflexive, only against metal weapons.

Re: Immunity to Metallic Hazards
I assume the PC wants the ability to pick up metal swords and bullets, though. The trigger here is violent intent, or perhaps freak accident.
Why specify weapons? A runaway bus isn't a weapon.

Re: Immunity to Metallic Hazards
A bus is, in fact, a metallic hazard. The key is here being able to wear armor (even if metal armor would be out of place at TL8...), but be unfazed by bullets. Except rubber ones, those will still sting.

Insubstantial, Always On, Limited: Metallic Dangers Only, Affects Substantial, Can Carry Objects, Cosmic. Not sure on the value of Cosmic, but probably +100% or higher.

The meteorite would whiffle through, blasting and super heating the rock and air near you.
Insubstantial: metal only seems the simplest and most accurate translation of OP's concept.
