Default Whataboutism Octopi Myrmidon

When an Octopus casts Summon Myrmidon what does he get?

And can a human cast Summon Myrmidon for a ST 13 Gargoyle with a Halberd?

If they know that spell, they get what the description of that spell says they get.

Some octopi may have other summoning spells, such as Summon Giant Sturgeon, or whatever.

No. They also can't summon a gargoyle without a halberd, using Summon Myrmidon.

To plagiarize my own post on this from the regular forum:

I prefer thinking of Myrmidons appearing somewhat robotic or mechanical, with no personality in their faces. Androgynous, monochromatic, homogeneous in appearance and belonging to no definite or recognizable species. That feels most in keeping with what they are supposed to be: mindless fighting machines that follow any order, only differentiated by what weaponry they come with.

I should amend that to say: mindless bipedal humanoid fighting machines, because the spell doesn't even imply you get anything more than that.

I had an NPC student wizard who could cast Summon Myrmidon, but the myrmidons were always handsome men of her type, with wavy blond hair and oiled upper bodies. She found it highly embarrassing but had not, at time of encounter, worked out how to stop her subconscious from affecting her spellcasting.
