Explosive on Afflictions
How does the explosive modifier work on an affliction? I can imagine situations were it would probably be the most accurate for the effect in question (like a flashbang grenade) but I can't find rules anywere in basic for how they could be used together.

I'm guessing you want area of effect not explosive.

Re: Explosive on Afflictions
We do know that the way 1/2D works on afflictions is giving +3 to resist, so I could see it being reasonable to allow other conditions where you might suffer half damage (Dissipating or Explosion) so long as targets also got +3 to resist in that situation.
Explosion divides damage by 3xyards though, so for 1/3 damage there should be a higher bonus than merely +3. I don't know how to guess at the math used to estimate what that bonus ought to be though. |

With dissipation. I do not know why I forgot that dissipation works with afflictions. Is there a way to give a dissipating area of effect a larger full strength area before it dissipates? I'm thinking about a flashbang it should basically be at full strength out to about a 2 yard radius, and then dissipate out from there. |
