Sword and Sandals templates
The plan is to have 150-point characters. Low-magic setting. Looking through DF:15 Henchmen I spy with my little eye:
Archer Brute Cutpurse Sage (no gadgeteers) Skirmisher (no monks) Squire Additional: Charlatan (silver tongue and golden smile) Green Witch (Path magician) Kinsman (knight-errant, servants of a cosmic power of Truth/Order) Pit Fighter (less formal gladiator) Priest (using Divine Favor) Any thoughts or other suggestions? Edit: Houserules 1) Knowing Your Own Strength; 2) Will and Perception are separated from IQ; 3) Signature Gear works as in DFRPG

Re: Sword and Sandals templates
What is the actual setting? The title implies either Greek or Roman, so have you taken a look at Roma Arcana from GURPS Fantasy?

Re: Sword and Sandals templates
Very homebrew, but Gladiator sounds appealing as an option.

Re: Sword and Sandals templates
I'm not sure what you mean by Brute, but there are different types of soldier than you have listed so far: charioteer, phalange, hoplite, shield-bearer, cavalryman ...
Depending on the campaign, other career paths might form good bases for Templates, like messengers, diplomats, artisans, aquatic vessel operators, merchant/traders, athletes, administrators, masons or engineers. |

Re: Sword and Sandals templates
The Three Kingdoms era is very much the same time period, so you may want to take a look at it. Of course, the Three Kingdoms era had folk heroes who were eventually deified (Guan Yu being the prime example), so the setting may be larger-than-life.

The Kinsmen are very much inspired by wuxia.

Re: Sword and Sandals templates
I am curious about the Green Witch. You mention them being Path magicians. Is that Path/Book Magic or Ritual Path Magic?

Re: Sword and Sandals templates
Path magic. Magic is based on manipulating spirits, and the Green Witches mostly use benign magic. There are, of course, other magicians who are more into curses and summoning demons, but they're not really PC material.

Re: Sword and Sandals templates
Banestorm has a bunch of templates in the right range that I think could stand any TL downgrade just fine; Bounty Hunter, Charlatan, Courtier, Mercenary, Merchant, Northern Barbarian, Urban Rogue, Woodsman...
