By cutting the bond between an undead and the realm of the dead, this spell destroys or de-animates an undead (not demons). This spell only works on free-willed undead – for mindless undead, use the spell Brotja Sálhelehjon (below). The sorcerer must succeed in a Quick Contest of Wills, modified for range as per the Speed/Range table (p.*B550). If the sorcerer fails, they must wait an hour before they can try again.

By cutting the bond between an undead and the realm of the dead, this spell destroys or de-animates an undead (not demons). The sorcerer targets an area – all mindless undead in that area must make a HT roll or be destroyed. The spell only affects undead that the caster can see with their unaided eyes.

The sorcerer places a mask of energy around themselves or a chosen person or creature (not an object). The energy makes the air flicker, making it difficult to see anything in a two-yard area around the person. Any attempt to see or target the subject using sight is at -1 per level. The boundaries of the zone are easily detected; roll at +1 per level.

Statistics: Affliction 1 (Fixed Duration, +0%; Reduced Duration, 1/20, -25%; Sorcery, -15%; Touch, -20%) [4] + Grants Advantage (Obscure, Magic, +18%/level) + [1.8/level], for a total cost of 5.8 for level 1 + 1.8/level.

The spell creates a loud, sharp noise. The noise, which lasts for a fraction of a segment, is so loud that everyone in the area except the caster must make a HT roll or lose their hearing for one hour per point they failed the roll by. In addition, everyone who fails their HT roll is physically stunned (p.*B420). Deaf people are immune to this, and those who have blocked their ears (e.g., by putting wax or their fingers in them) are also immune. People with Hard of Hearing are at +4 to resist.
The noise can be easily heard (a Hearing roll) at a distance of 250 yards (count from the edge of the area).

The sorcerer can summon a melee weapon of their choosing, as long as it does not weigh more than 15 lbs. They must be able to visualize the weapon clearly – no Force Swords! The weapon is composed of pure vitner and thus counts as a magical weapon. It appears in the caster’s hand.
The weapon does thr+1d6/level has Reach 1, 2 and is wielded using an appropriate Melee weapon skill. It can be used to Parry. Damage is set as either crushing, cutting, or impaling when the spell is cast and cannot be switched thereafter.

Statistics: Innate Attack, 1d6 (crushing/cutting/impaling; Extended Duration, x6, +30%; Melee Attack, 1,2, Can Parry, -20%; Persistent, +40%; Sorcery, -15%; ST-Based, +100%) [13/level]
Note 1: Cost for Innate Attack was calculated as cost for impaling attack + 1/5 of the cost for crushing and impaling attacks.
Note 2: Persistent in this case means the weapon sticks around. The need to roll against a weapon skill is balanced by the ability to change targets at will.

By leaving the material plane of existence the caster can let his spirit move through the surroundings with a Move of Speed×2. The body is unconscious during the spell effect. A sorcerer who is in the astral plane can see and hear as if they were at the place, but they cannot affect the world; this includes spells. It cannot be affected by physical attacks; this includes spells that do not affect the mind directly. The sorcerer is aware if their body gets hurt. If the body is killed while the spirit is floating free, the sorcerer gets a Will roll – on a critical success they become a ghost. On any other result, they die.
If the spellcaster cannot get back to their body before the spell ends they are exposed to extreme shock. The chock comes from being drawn back to their body at unimaginable speed. The sorcerer must make a Fright Check at -10 and loses 1 Will point permanently.
The spirit body is invisible except to people who can see invisible things or sense spirits.

The spell creates an optic illusion around the sorcerer or some chosen subject or being. The subject grows fuzzy and appears to fade into the background. Everyone gets a -6 to Perception-based checks, melee attacks and all ranged attacks against the subject. The penalty is halved if the subject is moving.

This spell allows the sorcerer to move their consciousness to a non-sapient (i.e., IQ 5 or lower) vertebrate. To succeed with this, the subject of the spell must be within range and the caster must be able to see it. In other words, a sorcerer cannot possess a subject that they cannot see.
The sorcerer must win a Quick Contest of IQ (modified for Speed/Range as per p.*B550) vs. the subject’s Will. The victim resists at +5 if they are in combat with the sorcerer or otherwise wary. If the sorcerer loses or ties, the sorcerer is mentally stunned for 1d seconds and cannot attempt to possess that animal again for 1 hour.
The sorcerer’s own body is unconscious for the duration of the spell. See the section on Possession (p.*B75) for details on how this spell works.

The spell turns every blow that causes damage into a Major Wound., In practical terms, this means that whoever suffers a blow from the character must make an immediate HT roll to avoid knockdown and stunning.

Modifiers: -5 for a major wound to the face or vitals (or to the groin, on a humanoid male); -5 if the wound would have been a Major Wound even without the spell; -10 for a major wound to the skull or eye; -+3 for High Pain Threshold, or -4 for Low Pain Threshold.
On a failure, the person is stunned (see p.*B420) for effects. They fall prone (if they weren’t already), and they were holding anything, they drop it. This effect is called “knockdown” and isn’t the same as “knockback” (see p.*B378).
On a failure by 5 or more, or any critical failure, the person falls unconscious! See Recovering from Unconsciousness (p.*B423).

The subject of this spell goes Berserk immediately, as per the disadvantage on p.*B124. While this can be useful in some situations, in most cases it is very very dangerous.

The spell creates a thin layer of vitner around hands and feet that works as a kind of suction cup. The subject has full control over the energy and can decide when to hold fast and when to let go. The effect is that the subject can climb on any wall and ceiling without fear of falling. In addition, they can’t be disarmed or forced to let go of anything they hold in their hands. Unfortunately, the spell only works if the caster wears nothing on hand and feet.

The sorcerer focuses on the air and the energy in front of the eyes of themselves or the subject so the form a kind of lens of compressed air and energy. When the subject looks though the lenses, which is always at the right distance from the eyes to give perfect clarity, they work as a telescope. Each level lets the subject ignore -1 in range penalties to Vision rolls at all times, or -2 in range penalties if take an Aim maneuver to zoom in on a particular target. This ability can also functions as a telescope sight, giving up to +1 Accuracy per level with ranged attacks provided the subject take an Aim maneuver for second equal to the bonus.
