Default Skill/Advantage Questions

OK, well I've been... GURPing for about a year and a half now, but i just created my account o sj games forums. me and my friends havent been playing it all the exact way it is meant, but it's still very fun. i may come on this thread asking more questions, but in the meantime i have but one: i am making a ridiculously overpowered character with the ability to teleport specific limbs within a 500 ft. radius. he has a karate skill and a strength of 20 (for neck snapping and ripping of body parts) so he could (for example) teleport his hand into an enemies head, and then rip his hand out, insta-killing just about anything. i gave him danger sense so maybe i could sense incoming attacks and then teleport that limb away, avoiding the attack. but i found that danger sense simply wasn't enough. does anyone know of an ability that can let me do that kind of thing?

Sorry, misread your statement.

Detect (Attack; Reflexive +40%; No Die Roll Required +100%; Linked to Affliction +10%; Linked to Innate Attack +20%) + Affliction (Inflict Disadvantage, One Hand -15%; Permanent +300%; Linked to Detect +10%; Linked to Innate Attack +10%) + Innate Attack (1d cutting; Bypasses DR +300%; Linked to Detect +10%; Linked to Innate Attack +10%)

Now, I'm not very good at building abilities so I'm sure someone else will give you something cheaper and tell me this doesn't work, but it can be a starting point.

It looks like your character has some form of Warp that can work on independent body parts, possibly Linked to an ST-based, Cosmic (Ignores DR) Innate Attack. Warp can be used to Dodge attacks, and I see no reason yours couldn't do the same. I think a successful check with Danger Sense allows you to Dodge an otherwise-invisible attack, which should be sufficient for you to be able to get out of the way.

Precogniton with some limitations could work.

yes, i do think that danger sense is good enough, it is that my character didnt have enough points in the end to bring up his Perception, so my chances of succeeding a danger sense check are relatively low... (sorry, i should have said about that before)

this looks good, but how many points does this cost? that's probably a stupid question, but is there a base price or is there a way i should calculate it?

This part should be an innate attack with +300% cosmic (bypasses DR). Then aimed at the body part of your choice. Still not an instant kill, but it will do massive damage.

Isn't this just a dodge with a special effect? The danger sense lets you dodge, and you're not warping your whole body away, so it's just a freaky looking dodge.
