Generic Term For 'Magic' Items?
Fairly simple question. Magic Items only really applies to items that are made using magic. If I want to talk about such items in general or items with undefined source what's the term? And what's the term for the creation process?
And what about other sources? Psionic is often used for Psi made stuff, but what about Chi/Ki? Racial? |

I'm not sure there is a conventional term for that. "Empowered" might work.

I often use "artifacts."

Memetronic Generators!
I kid. You could say supernatural or TL^ to indicate these are items that do not follow the laws of physics.

As for making them, "Artificing" works well (making a person who makes such things an "Artificer"). Chi items are sometimes called Chi-enhanced or similar. Racial items will simply be named after the appropriate race - in [i]The Noble Dead[i] Saga, there's a mithril-equivalent that the characters simply call "Chein'as metal" after the race that makes such items. |

Re: Generic Term For 'Magic' Items?
Devices seems to be a reasonably common option in fiction too.
What's the goal here anyway? If you are looking for something in-world, a random pronounceable string that follows approximately the same phonetic rules you are using to generate character or place names will work better than any English word.

Re: Generic Term For 'Magic' Items?
I would often say "Gadgets," meaning items that it is logical to build using advantages and gadget modifiers, rather than describing them as the product of cash outlays or technically describable work.
