Default Food Truck Wars

These tweets that show photographs of two 1/64 die cast food truck miniatures for Gaslands gave me an idea for Car Wars.

Food Truck Wars would be a scenario on one or Midville maps, or a type of duel in an arena.

The scenario Taxi Driver from VIP of Gaming 2 could be modified to have food truck deliveries in a small town.

In an arena, perhaps a food truck would need to have weaponry that was aligned with the theme of the food in the truck. One example would be an ice cream truck would need to have at least one Ice Dropper. Another example would be a food truck containing a gas grill would need to have at least one Flamethrower, Flaming Oil Jet, or Flame Cloud Ejector.

"Soylent Green, is PEOPLE!" >:)

I don't know why, but I just had to say it. Seriously, that sounds like a really cool idea.

ISTR, that there was an article about this in AutoDuel Quarterly once upon a time.

Love this. It could be an Autoduel campaign so easily.

Portland, OR, would be the epicenter for this. :)

Fitting a Galley into a _CW_ vehicle might be difficult; Mini-Galley would be more reasonable.

I ran that event. I would love to do a similar event at Adepticon 2022. I ended up making a dozen 28mm food trucks for the event. Each truck had themed weapons with backgrounds. So much food-themed carnage was done. The winner got a metal and a copy of the graphic novel Get Jiro: Blood and Sushi.
Hawaiian BBQ Short Ribs Launcher: With a special sauce mix these ribs hit your senses with a mix of spicy and sweet that can only be described like getting hit in the mouth with a feather followed by a really, really big hammer.

If the it misses its to-hit roll by only 1, it still does 2 hits of damage to the target
The Juice Weasel: Thank you Juicy Jay Cornin! Able to grind and juice anything known to man. Carrots, apples, plates, dirty underwear, depleted uranium, the sky is the limit. This weapon affects 2 adjacent sides on the target vehicle at the same time as long as the LOS can be drawn to both. Both take full damage and take an extra D1 hazard.
The Devil’s Spit: People thought grain alcohol was rough, this stuff makes it look like tap water with a twist of lemon. Keep away from open flames. Maximum Range 24". On the next phase after a successful hit roll 1D, on a 1-2 you avoid the burn, on a 3-5 take 1D-2 damage and roll again

Diehard,

Thank you for the apocawesome reply with weaponry information.

Can you convert your Food Truck Wars Car Wars 5E Event to the rules for Car Wars 4E and the new Car Wars6E?

How about a Mexican-themed cart serving corn-and-banana-leaves out the B arc?

It's called the...

...TA-MAUL-E.
