Mate: Duplicate bonuses against Races, etc.?
After playing Munchkin Quest multiple times (with the new expansion), I'm very pleased altogether, but I have questions I'm hoping to get clarification on:
Q1: If an Level 1 Player with Elf as a race begins combat with a Level 4 Leperchaun (+5 vs Elves). The player enlists the aid of a fellow elf in the combat. Normally the Leperchaun would only receive the sole +5 bonus vs. the elven group - but if Mate is played, does the text on the Mate card ("It is a separate monster with all the same levels, bonuses, and treasure that the original monster had.") count as an effective 9, for a total of 18 for the 2 monsters? Yes, the Mate has the same bonuses or penalties against a given Race, Class, or sex as the original monster does.

Re: Mate: Duplicate bonuses against Races, etc.?
Thanks.
As a corollary, if the Leperchaun and his/her mate survived, would their ability (2 x instance of -1 to all dice rolls) stack for a -2 cumulative penalty to dice rolls? |

That said, don't do it. It may seem funny at the time, but you'll regret it later. TRUST ME.
