Okay, I made a few changes. I exchanged Bad Sight for Post-Combat Shakes and extended Pacifism (Cannot Harm Innocents) to Pacifism (Self-Defense Only). I replaced combat skills with other skills and dropped the weapon bond (not really meant to be a weapon anyway) for Honest Face. Point totals are still the same. Also, I've modified the inventory so that it falls within Lucie's Basic Lift (20 lbs.). I didn't count the clothes she's wearing and the prayer stick as weight she's carrying.

Lucie Bertrand [250 Points]

Lucie Bertrand was born to a wealthy, aristocratic Parisian family who afforded her the luxury of an education at the Lycée Janson de Sailly and the benefits of multilingualism. After graduating from Janson with a Baccalauréat, Lucie travelled to Switzerland and enrolled in the University of Zurich. She studied medicine for six years, earning a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree upon graduation. Lucie had originally planned to return to France to practice medicine, but while she was at a convention in Geneva she heard about the Médecins Sans Frontières, a humanitarian-aid organisation that provided medical aid to war-torn regions and developing countries facing diseases.

Lucie joined MSF and ended up travelling the world helping people throughout Africa and Asia, experiencing strange and mysterious cultures. While on a mission in Africa, Lucie treated an elderly witchdoctor for sleeping sickness and in return he gave her a gift, a walking staff fashioned from a broken tree branch with various religious scriptures and symbols carved into it. Lucie discovered that the staff to travel through time and to parallel worlds, though she never told anyone. One day, after returning from a mission in Libya, Lucie was approached by a man claiming to be from "the Western Harbour". He asked her to join up in "The Fight" against "The Blazen". Naturally, Lucie accepted and was drafted into The Front Line.

The sheets are... Around. I've had at least one delivered by e-mail as pdf rather than posted on the OOC. There's no definite place to look, though I do keep thinking that it would be nice to arrange at some point.

You're missing First Aid (as far as I can see). About the inventory:

a set of Summer Clothes. $60, 1 lb.
a pair of Jungle Boots (TL7). 3 lbs.
a Prayer Stick (TL0). 5 lbs.
a Backpack, Small (TL5). $120, 3 lbs. LC4.
a Crash Kit (TL8). $200, 10 lbs. LC3.

If you use the rules for expensive gadgets, you can make the crash kit 6.6666666667 lbs. (double cost, but still).

There isn't really any reason to not count the Prayer Stick and Clothes as encumbrance (you're still carrying them), so this comes out to 18.6666666666 (rounding off to seven whenever you like). This keeps you un-encumbered within the rules.

My last final is on Friday, then I'm free! Well, then I have only holiday stuff going on. I'll be almost completely gone from after Christmas until right after New Years.

Only thing I want to finish with Seann before trying to catch up is equipment updates. I hope to have that out soon.

That was intentional. I used the physician template from GURPS BioTech as a basis for Lucie. If I remember correctly, First Aid defaults directly to Physician without any penalty and Lucie has Physician 14 so she effectively also has First Aid 14.

That is bizarre. Keep in mind that it is a default, and may come back to haunt you. (In other news, I'm going to go look for information on why that's set up like that...)

I thought it was -4 for the default, but all in all a LOT of things default to physician. That thing might as well be Medic! (Well technically medic lets you do use TL 12 equipment to preform surgery on a blazen even though your from the 1800's, but still)

Well I'm done with finals now, but on the choices of where to go, the night club and warehouse look good spots due to actual confirmed disappearances. The warehouse seems especially good if people are working on something there; that speaks to me of something majorish.
