Um, 12,000 points? What sort of game was that?

Pretty high-level, even for a supers game. You could roll buckets of dice for damage with something like that, though I would assume that you just used multipliers or similar, instead. Any planets get destroyed or were at serious risk of destruction?

And yet - that's not what happened. But we're derailing jolly's blog. So I'll stop.

Just added a writeup of the Oshkosh M-ATV Special Ops version. Let me know your thoughts - this is the first time trying to stat up a vehicle in 4E.

That looks reasonably plausible, although I can't see how they cram six dismounts and their equipment in the back compartment.

Are you absolutely sure about those DR numbers? 45 DR on rear cargo compartment means it has 50% chance to fully negate a 6dx2 shot (Barret .50 cal with FMJ ammo) or 6d+2 (2) shot (7.62x51 assault rifle with APHC bullet, or a 5.45 assault rifle with APDS shot).

For comparison, official stats for BRDM (High Tech) give it 20 DR. Official stats for Cadillac Gage V-150 Commando (P3-53) give it 30 DR.

The crew is protected by 65 DR, meaning you need 18d+2 to reach them, or 9d+1 (2).

The DR 110 is unusual too. The statted High Tech mine offers 5dx8 damage (140 average), against DR110 it's 30 damage on average. This isn't even a major wound with 115 HP, and, as statted, M-ATV can simply drive off from an encounter with what amounts to an anti-tank mine, given the attack hits the body rather than the wheel. You'd need 18 lbs of C4 (6dx10) to reliably put M-ATV out of commission.

The pintle can carry either an M240 (HT133) with XX 200-round belts
You seem to have forgotten to put down the number of m240 belts.

Thanks for the feedback - I'll take a closer look at it! :)

The Oshkosh is usually STANAG 4569 Level 2 which would equate to 25-30 DR

but it can be uparmored to Level 3, protection from 7.62 Nato M993, which should be 50 DR.

its hull is also blast optimised. reducing effects felt on the passengers by putting them in a capsule together with crew.

A tiny correction: protection from 7.62x51 APHC is 49 DR from statted level IV vests from pyramid 3-57.
