Unless you have extremely large giants, dragons, and/or kaijuu as PCs (or are playing OGRE), a railway gun is more background than a weapon with stats.

Speaking of Tallboy bombs. One was found recently in Poland, and this happened (link to YouTube)

With an elite crew and a state of the art bombsight it was also far, far likelier to hit its' target than artillery shells lobbed somehere into the right postal code area.

Those artillery shells also had shorter ranges than the bombers that could be sent after them. You might as well get excited over the US Navy perfecting the cutlass with their model of 1917.
The Tallboy wasn't even the biggest deep penetrating bomb the British developed. That was the Grand Slam, at ten tons. It had 43% filler, by mass.

It makes a difference if the target is some kaiju or giant mecha. Different knockback, different injury multipliers, different effect on flexible armour. Also, you can't shoot something in the vitals with a crushing attack (using Basic Set rules).

Knowing the stats of the shell can be useful, if only so that you know how far away to arrange for a 'near miss' to land so it can rough the PCs up without turning them to pink mist. The same applies to bombs, nuclear warheads, and so on. Sure, they're mostly plot devices, but knowing how they behave lets you use them in a manner that fits how the game works, which is important for some people.

Mostly it would be a large target.

Acc. to the German Wikipedia, it required a crew of 5,000 man. To prepare for a shot, a lot of tracks had to be layed, which must have looked like a rail yard. German Officers claimed that the targets the gun was used for could also be destroyed by other weapons.

Probably Hitler just wanted to compensate for something.

TBH while I was half joking I did think that there was some crossover point between Pi++ and Cr when it came to shell size but looking at HT I guess I was wrong!

If we're shooting Kaiju with this thing I'm guessing some kind of APEX round would be good

One of the German big guns was intended to destroy Maginot Line bunkers (apparently the Czech bunkers in the Sudetenland were tested and the Germans discovered it would have been very hard to defeat those defences with their current guns) but the gun apparently only was tested on them post the conquest of France.

If anyone has detail on this I'd appreciate it.

The Westwall bunkers manned for the defence of Germany were apparently destroyed by 155mm artillery in direct fire on the rear doors.

On the Tallboy / Grand Slam bombs, similar bombs were used later: the AZON and TARZON by the US in Korea (each was guided to some degree, in Azimuth for the first).
The same shape bomb casing was apparently also used for the first British nuclear bomb Blue Danube.

AP rounds were fired at 720 mps - plugging those numbers into my damage calculation spreadsheet gives 6dx260 pi++, or 6dx182 (2) pi++ converting to WW2 AP. It'll penetrate anything short of 7644 points of DR on average, or about 16 meters of reinforced concrete, which equates pretty well with it being able to penetrate 7 meters of concrete at max range.
