Default Recoil for single-shot weapons

The Basic Set says that Recoil is listed for single-shot weapons because it is sometimes used with other rules than rapid fire. Has anyone seen such a rule? I searched through Campaigns but I couldn't find anything.

As I remember, there aren't any at present. The Rcl numbers do allow for some to be invented, and a few have been discussed.

For example, some elephant guns have very high Rcl but low weight and fairly low ST requirements. If a GM decided you had to re-ready such a gun after firing it, if it's Rcl was more than half your ST, I wouldn't object.

Imbuements, for starters. There also may be some odd things like double-barrel modifications.

What about if you're using multiple projectiles. Buck and ball was a fairly common load for muskets.

This to my knowledge.

Shot loads change RoF and Rcl, so that doesn't really count.

Multiple barrels.

Nothing really outside exotic effects, since a multi-barrel non-single-shot version isn't the same weapon and could have a different rcl value. (More mass firing the same round tends to lower rcl, though only sometimes enough to pass the granularity filter.)

Any rules for multi-barrel mods should still use the base Rcl and then modify that.

I I don't think there are any such rules, because AFAIK there's no official math behind Rcl determination.
