Re: Lost in Dreams [Tereza]
"This... isn't his dream. Most people start with visiting relatives or people that are sleeping nearby. I've spent a good amount of time in his dreams. You've taken us way out. I didn't even know this place existed. You have more power to travel than I've ever seen."
"We're pretty far from any dreams. I know my family is ALL that way". A bright green light circles one of the globes above them. "Which is weird, we're pretty spread out: I have family around 3 suns. I don't know what these other globes are."

Re: Lost in Dreams [Tereza]
"Weird because they're all in that globe instead of spread out over three of them? Well let's try to get back to your family." Tereza will make sure she has a good grip on Ilios and mutter, "Up up and away," as she tries flying to the highlighted globe. "It didn't take hardly anytime to get here so it shouldn't take to long to get back. Right?"
As she's moving, or trying to, she continues with, "Yeah, I'm gonna guess the other globes are other places, like the one you highlighted is Paper world and the one I'm from is Ball world. Wherever it is. And the ones near yours are related maybe? Whatever. All guesses anyway. Kinda makes sense though. So how was I supposed to picture myself moving? Don't think you've answered that probably yet cause of all... this." |

Re: Lost in Dreams [Tereza]
"I don't picture myself moving. I just move. Other worlds... well, this doesn't decide the question of what you are, but yes, take us back... I certainly don't have the speed to do it though."
Tereza focuses on moving, and they beggin to move through the air towards the globe. Its not slow, but at this rate it will take at least an hour before reaching the target. And that's a minimum estimate.

Re: Lost in Dreams [Tereza]
"So, do you think this pace is good, or should I try something to up it? This is a lot slower then I was expecting to move. Like I said, took us hardly any time to get here and now it seems like it'll take a while back. Actually, I never did ask. Do you want to check out one of the other globes, or head to your home one.
I thought Muso was sleeping nearby. And as I've spent the most time with him since I got here I thought he was the best candidate. So now I think I've kinda got moving down except for practice. How am I supposed to get into a person's dream? See a person and just... move into them or what. So what do you think happened? You've already heard my guesses. Once again and before I forget. Thank you very much for all your help and tutoring. I hope this hasn't caused you any undue concern, and will continue to help me in the days to come. I appreciate this and you very much." |

Re: Lost in Dreams [Tereza]
"This pace will... We'll be woken up by servants who think we're dead before we get back. What in abyss did you do?"
"He is sleeping nearby. Don't practice with him though, I've got him under guard, and he's quite likely to be the scene of some fighting... but that doesn't explain this at all. Your methods of navigation seem quite different from mine. We tend to float close by dreams. Weak and inexperienced dreamers can't even leave dreams most of the time. You've taken us far outside anyone's dream: farther than anyone goes in tales, let alone my experience." "My guess for what you did? I'm guessing you're a conjured one engineered for dream walking. You'll outclass all of us, just as a Brukit outclasses any warrior. We rely on reaching relatives to travel to different places: If your a conjured you can probably go where ever you want... but you do seem to have a steering problem. It'd be a natural flaw in the ritual."

Re: Lost in Dreams [Tereza]
"Right, pick up the pace. Got it." Tereza will will herself to move faster. Imagining the sound and feel of wind rushing past as she zooms to her target.
"Okay, so who should I practice with? I'll maintain that I don't think I'm a conjured being. It seemed to me from the way Hyrim explained it that he had no memories prior to his conjuration along with a general knowledge of what he was capable of and whom he owed his allegiance to. Among other things. I have none of that. Also I really want to talk to Rena and see if I can summon a Brukit on my own. I'm not a fighter and being able to summon one seems like a very handy thing. |

Re: Lost in Dreams [Tereza]
The wind picks up, and Tereza goes a little faster, but not the orders of magnitude she hoped to.
"I frankly have no idea who you would practice with. One of us is as good as you are likely to get." "Those are fairly persuasive arguments. Of course, they don't explain why you can dream-walk, or whatever it is you did, but If we had a perfect explanation we wouldn't be guessing." "Who would you give control of the Brukit to? Muso? It would be no different from Mother conjuring one. The ability to conjure isn't much use it a fight. And besides, aren't you a little young for the rituals?"

Re: Lost in Dreams [Tereza]
"Well, that's a little better. Maybe they wont fear for our lives now.
You just said I shouldn't practice with Muso because you have him warded. So I guess we'll look for a nearby maid or something when we get back. Unless you have everybody in your household warded? Which might not be a bad idea if you can manage that. Can I not keep control of the Brukit for myself? How long does it take to conjure them? If I can dreamwalk without being a male eunuch I figure I might be able to conjure just as well. Heh, there's an idea, summoning the Gozirra of Brukit." (Explanation of Gozirra ensues) |

Re: Lost in Dreams [Tereza]
"Oh, who you should target... Usually you start with your own family... My siblings are probably a good place to start. We watch them, but not the same way we guard Muso. And besides, with how clumsy you are right now... a servant is probably just as well."
"I suppose you may be able to break those rules as well. Its just... such a price if you get it wrong. Conjuring doesn't take too long, but you have to confer control to a male heir. I suppose you could try it on yourself... That would be quite strange if it worked, but you are a strange thing. Or girl. Sorry about that." "Oh, I suppose they didn't explain that to you: The conjured creatures have fixed types, built into their gems. We call the gems after the creatures they produce. It allows them to be stolen or their owns switched."

Re: Lost in Dreams [Tereza]
"What's the price if I get it wrong? And if I can't manage it in combat I could always make one beforehand. Just a lot more noticeable that way.
Well if i can't use the brukit for myself I could give it to you or Muso. Assuming I manage to make one anyway. Forgiven. If I did hear it i don't remember. So do all gems and rocks have a type associated with them? It has been tried with rocks right? I mean the biggest difference between the two where I'm from is how pretty we consider them." |
