[IC] Lost in Dreams [Tereza]

"I was planning to practice traveling tonight... but events have changed my mind."

Illios takes Tereza back to Rana's mind.

"Ok, I need you to think about your mother. Now you should see two faces? You don't? relax. Think about your oldest brother. How many faces do you see?"

Nothing prominant rises in Tereza's mind.

"Why should I see two faces when I think of my mother? Events have changed your mind to what exactly? Do you mean the nightmare or the assassin? I only see one face for my oldest, and only, brother. I could picture him with some different hairstyles if you like." *Snort* "Yeah, he wouldn't look so good in pigtails.

So what are we doing now? Working on control some more? Are you reading my mind?"

"Both the nightmare and the assassin. You aren't in control, and the last thing we need right now is us getting dumped on top of someone when security is high and a killer is loose"

"I'm teaching you to read other's minds. Particuarly their family, which should be particularly easy. You're looking for my uncle. Your mind should currently be meshed with my mothers, which means when you think of brothers, you should think of not only hers but yours."

Illios goes through several excersizes, and asks her to think of the most random things, from family members to jewelry to wedding days. Sometimes she catches glimpses of images or thoughts, but every time it turns out to have been generated by her own mind.

"Well that's a bit discouraging. Still with more practice maybe it'll come to me. How long did it take for you to start being able to read minds? Eventually I should also practice forming things too. Pictures* are nice and all but not very substantial."

Tereza continues to practice under Ilios's guidance.

"Oh. Hears an idea. Why don't you take me to the space inbetween dreams. I overshot and took us to the space between worlds, I think. If you take me there though maybe I won't overshoot next time I try for it because I'll have a better idea of what I'm looking for.

"The hard part is usually keeping your head and sorting the images out from each other. I could sense other's thoughts quite quickly. Most of us figure it out without help."

Illios looks uneasy, and takes Tereza to the place between dreams.

It seems to be several bubbles, each with things happening in them, connected by threads...

Then everything changes, and there is just blackness. Not even Illios.

[Poonbahbah]

"Okay. That was a bad idea. A very bad idea. You shouldn't of listened to me Ilios. I shouldn't off sugested."

Tereza will then try and picture her room in... Home or palace. The palace has Ilios and the other dream walkers who are helping her learn to use her power. Home has her mom and dad and little sister. Not to mention friends and extended family and the familiar. She can always try going back to Ilios later. For now she dreams of home. Her family. Her bed. Her favorite dish (beef stroganoff or maybe chocolate.) All the things that make up her home. She lets the memories spool out and fixes them in her mind as where she is. Home.

She begins thinking of home, and of the comforts of home she hasn't seen in a very long time. She dreams that she is home, rather than lost somewhere. She eventually looses track of the time in the blackness, but knows she is home.

When she wakes, she finds herself laying on a street in Paris, completely naked.

Tereza will get up and take stock of her surroundings. She'll keep a big eye out for anything she might able to use as clothes, or at least cover the important bits with. Next up will be making her way to the embassy and getting in contact with her family. If police become involved* she tells them of how she got mugged but was able to convince the youths to stop short of anything else they might regret.

Tereza is able to find 'clothing'. She is in Paris, but it is quite some way to the embassy. She can try to bum some money, a ride, or start walking.
