If the power has reached them already she'll say, "Check your weapons," if not she'll say, "Be careful," and wait for them to have been in it a while, say ten minutes, before bringing up checking weapons again.

Tereza advises caution. Chung does inspect his weapon manually, but the trouble is apperently usually with gun powder. He has his men precede more cautiously. The field of energy comes closer. A report comes back that a man with a spear was spotted.

Chung orders his men to start moving into counter any attacks. The magical field starts moving towards Tereza's group rapidly.

Tereza will ready herself to fight off the magic, or at least keep it from her and her companions.

She'll try and use her occasional control of magic to keep her companions clear of it.

The magic hits before any combat starts. Tereza tries to push it away from Chung, and finds that its too 'fluid' do do anything. The magic is rushing into the area and staying there. If she wants to stop it she'll have to do so at its source -- which appears to be dozens of yards away behind the enemy.
