Eidetic Memory: Does it stick in your mind?
So, Pyramid #3/32 marks the fourth column of David Pulver's Eidetic Memory. This column gives David a chance to share his thoughts, rules, and examples of whatever comes into his head when he sees the topic of each month's issue.
What do you all think of EM so far? Is the promise of David's contribution something that heightens your anticipation of each month's issue, or is it just another article among many? Have the columns themselves been consistently entertaining, or have they been hit-or-miss? Basically, we're happy to set these pages aside for David each month -- but what does doing so mean to you, the faithful readers? (And I realize that four issues is hardly enough to get a true statistical sampling, but there's something to be said for early feedback as well!)

Re: Eidetic Memory: Does it stick in your mind?
So far, my favorite article has been the Monster Hunters adventure. The psi-magic is ok, I'm not interested in Spaceships (and only periferally in mass combat), so the Mass Combat in Space was not interesting to me, and the Penanggalan article was good, but given that I had interest in Japanese mythology some time ago (sparked by Legend of the Five Rings, but my interest went further than that), it didn't give my much in the way of interesting details. Still, it was solid, but I would have preferred if it had been a little longer.
Now, the writing is top notch, and another reason to keep renewing my subscription! |
