Oh boy Division 10.. amateur night returns!

I love it.. one of my favorite ways to play is division 10 or 15 in the Truck Stop.. makes for quick and bloody duels!

See everyone tonight.

The game I played with my wife (and son, though he left early on) on Memorial Day was with one sub-$10K stock design.

Looking forward to it!

4 engines started.
2 vehicles remained in the aftermath

Chris Goodwin had an anxiety attack after Knightime went head-on in a game of chicken. Knightime let loose at point blank a Heavy Rocket dealing 10 points of damage. In retaliation, Chris Goodwin fired back and scored with his recoiless rifle dealing 7 points of damage. Chris then proceeded to steer around some spikes.. rolling to a stop and realized that knightime is no one to mess with...

(Chris had to depart for family reasons rather quickly in the match).

The dynamic of 3 drivers remained. After some serious maneuvering, MattV angled and ran over no less than 3 or 4 sets of spikes. Finally, he lost control and blew not 1, not 2, but 3 of his 4 tires after trying to cut his car just a little too tight. He ended up in a flat spin, motionless... (AGAIN !!!)

Knightime had done a victory lap... although no kill was registered. The vehicle was a sitting duck at the end.

Millertime shot numerous times but primarily because Chris Goodwin left.. he was really out of the main combat for quite some time. Millertime also had some problems avoiding both Matt and Knightime. He lost control not once but twice with needing only a 2 or better both times. He attempted to corral Knightime but Knightime was able to avoid the spikes laid before him..

MattV took a short cut through the spikes which he survived .. until he pushed his car too far... He took 2 points of damage to his tires (after he already ran over no less than 3 spike counters). One tire popped then the flat spin caused a d6 more dp's to each tire causing another 2 to pop.

Once the 2nd pass was completed, MattV called time in and or about 14 Turns of play.

Although, no kills were scored. Knightime was nearly unscathed as was Millertime who ducked and dodged away from the two that were dog fighting....

Ah... What a game.. It was a glorious field of play with 4 players..

Will Knightime prevail again in the next bout?
Will Millertime step up to the plate in a more aggressive manner?
Will Chris Goodwin be able to calm his nerves ?
Will Matt V get his revenge after 2 embarrassing finishes?

Stay tuned Arena Fans for the answers to these questions in our next Arena Duel !!!

Is there any background or writeup of the Rome Corner Arena? I like the look of it, and can easily imagine it enabling neat tactical situations.

I think all of the Vassal arenas are non SJG arenas due to copyright bullcrap.

I'm not sure if you will find any in fo.

I like the arena also, the symmetry works well and doesn't allow for a shot at anyone right out the gates. It's a huge arena though and probably too large for a four car event. It only has four gates. We measured it and from side to dise it was about 40 inches I think which is close to the long side of the Armadillo.

Yeah, that's way too big for only four gates. A single standard map sheet is, I think, 21"x32". Or something close to that.
