The terrain's gotten rougher, bad weather is messing up the path. You are in danger of twisting your ankle, or tripping down a rocky trail. Foot DR protects.

Ok, so its raining today.



Do we notice that something mystical is happening on the trail? Could we get a complimentary roll via navigation? (won't matter for telrith's roll of 14 vs. default, but it might matter for someone else)



telrith fails his roll and takes 4 crushing damage to his foot, reduced by his boots to 2 damage.



"Gathika, do you have any light healing for my foot?"

(OC: No, not raining. More like heavy winds and something large burrowing loosened soil and tore up rocks. Weather Sense is the appropriate skill here.)

After a rough day through the woods, night falls, and the party must make camp before they get to the Caves tomorrow...

The adventurers spend a bit of time making the old earthen make-shift fort more homey (and a lot less smelly!), and then settle in for a good night's sleep...

(OC: random encounter!)

They wake up to a noisemaker trap going off...in fact, all the noisemaker traps are going off!

Looking over the walls, the party can see a big horde of zombies shuffling around!
Being dumb as deadwood, the rotting stinky horrors are confused by the noisemakers rather than alerted. The party gets a scant few moments before the flesh eaters figure out there is tasty living behind the earth walls!

(OC: combat has not started yet...)

Bain makes a DWA; the first shot will strike the vitals of a monster, the other will be a headshot. Bain focuses on attacking the monsters of “a secondary row”, about 5 yards away from him*. In other words, he goes for the monsters that won’t be within immediate reach of Gathika’s turn zombie spell or Telrith’s stone shower.

*No range penalty at the moment, since he’s a 6 yard above them, camouflaged and behind cover.

Shooting: Bow 15 (15, 3, -3: DWA, acc, vitals) 15, successful.
Fast-Draw (14) 10 & Ready (14) 10, successful.
Shooting: Bow 15 (15, 3, -1, -7: DWA, acc, quick-shooting, skill) 3, critical hit!
Critical head-blow table: 8.

Damage 1: 2d6+4 * 3 IMP, (2+4+4) * 3 = 30 HP of injury.
Damage 2: 2d6+4 * 4 IMP, (6+1+4-2) * 4 = 36 HP of injury.
