I've seen a certain amount of grumbling in a bunch of Kickstarters about not having lots of add-ons and stretch goals and the like, but this appears to be the payoff: projects being fulfilled not just on time but ahead of schedule. Not as exciting, maybe, but the system works.

Not only does it seem to work, but it reduces the amount of crazed eyerolling from the people managing those Kickstarters.
Still looking for that perfect balance . . . which will never stay the same because people get bored with today's perfection and want tomorrow's exciting risk of imperfection! |
