Breaking Oath Causes death
Hi I wanted to make this sorta undead superhero who got resurrected by a good highly powerful spirit but in exchange if he doesn't live by the oath (Help the innocent in need) he dies
How do I do that? |

Here's a different build: Dependency (Following Your Oath, Constantly) [-25]/[-50] (Anything worse than Common is probably an implausibly difficult oath) Also consider a maintenance centered build, where the skilled attention is following the oath, and the person who does the maintenance is yourself. |

Re: Breaking Oath Causes death
Self-Control rolls go:
You resist quite rarely (roll of 6 or less): 2 x listed cost. You resist fairly often (roll of 9 or less): 1.5 x listed cost. You resist quite often (roll of 12 or less): listed cost. You resist almost all the time (roll of 15 or less): 0.5 x listed cost. So something like: You resist never (no roll): 2.5 x listed cost. |

Re: Breaking Oath Causes death
I would build it like this:
Weakness can use affliction instead of damage. Not upholding an oath to protect innocents is probably common most of the time so worth -4 points as a base. Instant Death is worth +300% as a modifier. So as a Side Effect it's worth +350%. So -4 x 3.5 = -18 points. Modify based on how fast it sets in. If you die after 30 minutes of not protecting a known innocents that's worth -18 points. if it's 10 minutes that's -36 points. If it's one minute it's -72 points. If you want it FASTER then add Reduced Time a level at a time. For example, if you die instantly the first time you don't help an innocent then that would require 6 levels and give you a value of -158 points. In all cases I would call it a Divine Curse.

Re: Breaking Oath Causes death
Or just "Duty (Hazardous)". Duty doesn't specify the consequences of not doing your duty, but there will be consequences.
