No. You're hitting empty rooms because the enemies are in other areas of the dungeon.

Also, there are different ways to go in the dungeon, not to mention a way forward from where you are now.

I think we should force our way trough the room sending an elemental, with the elemental dashing to the next door (the exit or whatever grants the enemies an escape), using the element of surprise, to prevent the alleged enemy creatures from running away.

We could have the other elemental stand ahead of us to work as a living shield with Telrith by its side (at the safer position), building a shield-wall. Right behind them Mihrimah and Vicious stand as the attackers with their long weapons. Bain attacks from cover/shadows/stealth and Gathika while keeping her distance stands at the rear to heal everybody.

We start at the door’s threshold, if things look alright, we keep pushing. Otherwise, we take a defensive approach.

Telrith has four elementals today. Ruby (down 3 HP), Jade (down 6 HP), Sullyfur, and Mudlin (not as useful for combat). This note is here for my memory as well as the party's.
