Re: How much for royal blood?
Absolutely - back in the day, casting an unauthorised horoscope of the King was considered treason, so the risks inherent in peddling your blood to someone who very clearly intends to do some kind of magic with it...

Re: How much for royal blood?
Saints' blood would probably also be useful.

Re: How much for royal blood?
If noble blood is worth more, and you want your blood to go up in value, now you can! And if you use the promo code, at 20% off right now!
(Sealand is having a Black Friday sale. I'd post the link and the promo code, but don't know if that would violate a rule here).

Re: How much for royal blood?
Sure but Saint's bones are more transportable.
How about, Saints marrow. How long does marrow keep?

Re: How much for royal blood?
Quote:
Suppose at Waterloo Lord John of Snazzyhall is in a square. He hasn't done anything with his life. He is however a wonky genius and probably will invent something great at home. But right now he is a bachelor because he is young and just hasn't had time. Now ahead of him is Private Andy the Wastral who is no good for anything but gin and beer and has left several children around he could not be bothered to visit. A cannonball takes kills both of them. Private Andy is dumped in a heap. Lord John is forgotten too and leaves nothing on Earth but someone's dentures. However one of Private Andy's misbegotten children is determined to prove himself, goes to America and becomes a shipping baron. Later his family grows old and becomes one of the crustiest Old Money in America. Whose blood is worth more, that of the gallant Lord John or the worthless Private Andy who get killed by the same cannonball? Of course there could be value added? Say someone can add mana value to their blood according to their life? Kind of like buying property and building a barn, say.

Re: How much for royal blood?
Which possibility was allowed for in the last two sentences. It would make for some complicated calculations.
Come to think of that, that could be a feature. A quest for someone whose blood added up to enough for the demand.
