Gathika understands what the writing on the papers says. They are instructions. The man at the desk is named Lionel, and this is his punishment duty. He is to stand by the locked door, where the gang bosses live, and make sure any intruders do not come in. The intruders are to be told any lies that are needed, and the bosses authorise Lionel to bribe them to go away with the bag of coins provided. Lionel will be executed if he fails in his duty.

Lionel is lying. About everything.

We have killed everything up to you in these caves, we can get you to safety. We already read your instructions; you can be free. So again, who are your bosses and where is the main base?

Lionel is not being truthful, at all. He can not help himself.
