Probably not. I've noticed it takes more than 3 days of lack of sleep (or extremely reduced sleep) for this problem to occur in myself. But then I've been going on two years with extremely reduced sleep... so my judgement is now suspect.

I think it would be impossible to correct for the other variables.

However, there's more evidence that Modafinil is a cognitive enhancer than the reverse.

I think that Air Force study showed difficultly in concentration after several days.
