I can't tell if it feels like it has been longer, or - since I've so rarely gotten a chance to play since 4e replaced 3e - nowhere near that long! XP

Happy birthday, 4e. :D

Our little set of twin hardcovers is old enough to drive. They grow up so fast. *sniff* Seems like only yesterday.... ;)

Nice. You don't see a single edition of a game go that long anymore.

I was literally about to say the same thing. I think it's because I don't want to admit that I'm 16 years older.

On the other hand, the village elders tell me that people could once have actual face-to-face conversations without wearing masks, so our perception of time may have taken a beating in recent times.

Disappointed in the behaviour I have too-often encountered here.

I got into GURPS at 4E in 2008, after becoming disillusioned with the outgoing DnD 3E, and looking askance at the potential investment for DnD 4E.

I'm so happy with GURPS 4E as it does everything I want my RPG system to do.

Funny how in that space of time, DnD has progressed onto a fifth edition.
