Definitely switched back to the old style, even with the new changes it's still hard to look at. But this also made me realize there's no 'dark mode' forum setup. I know it might be too much to ask for, but how difficult would it be to add in color options? Like, not just a list of styles but the ability to color code each part of the forum?

User-configurable color customization is not possible. That level of control is strictly a backend function of the forums. If that is something you want, check further up-thread for a couple third-party overlay options that allow you to create filters for sites.

Alright, I thought it might be impossible, thanks for the confirmation.

I think we are nearly to our final version of changes. I plan to give it a few more days, but most of the opposing feedback now is just people who do not like light themes or just want the old theme. We've provided an option for that with the classic color theme setting.

I find the current scheme easy to read, if not a little light.

I find the light blue a bit jarring, out of place as it were.

The actual content boxes seem easy enough to read and even when I adjust for late night brightness I have no difficulty reading.

I for one am ok with the changes, while the old original scheme didnt bother me. I just dont care for the pastel blue mixed in with the pink/peach and brown.

I don't find the new change too bad to read. I do wonder if you might be able to code a standard dark read version everyone can switch to like the old style version?

Glad I saw this topic thread !

Was bit freaked out that my migraine or other medication was effecting my colour perception ! Or possible aftereffects of my stroke coupled with extreme fatigue . Definitely switching to old mode - hard enough to see on tiny screen of my ancient mobile phone as it is ...

Yeah I had similar medical concerns when first seeing the change myself, that or my monitor going out!
Luckily was only a few minutes of checking other things before I knew it was a site change.

I'm liking the new style more and more. The blue clashes a bit, but the increased contrast is welcome.
