Re: Idle Lore Question: IW and Toon?
For the first time ever I want to run an Infinite Worlds game. Sadly I'd have to run through at least three or four straight worlds before hitting the punch line.

Re: Idle Lore Question: IW and Toon?
Hm that sounds like the most awsome and insane game ever played.

Re: Idle Lore Question: IW and Toon?
For an as-yet-univisited world (called Freleng) in my IW game, I was thinking of using the Faerie template from GURPS Castle Falkenstein (updated for 4e, of course) for Toons. My thought was that the "Toons" are basically Fae, but instead of watching and mimicking iron age Europe for forms, they used early animation. The Faerie Veil there is called "Toonworld" and a chunk of downtown LA has become coterminous with parts of it, creating a "Toon Town". (In my game, I have decided that the Veil is essentially a "thickened" area of the Current that is parachronically "adjacent" to some worldlines.)

Slight digression: This one-panel webcomic (which I call "Bugs, Mr. Wiko! Miwwions of 'em!") might show how such a game could play out if the GM isn't careful... or if the GM steers it that way on purpose.
