I was sort of expecting a "So long and thanks for all the fishes" "From the Editor" article from Loren to recap his 16 years (minus a month or two here and there) as Editor on JTAS at SJG on the 29th. He had written some 400 "From the Editor" articles over the years. A final closing one would be nice.

Looks like it's gone now, attempting to access it bounces you back to the main sj games page. I'm slightly miffed as I have nearly 5 months left on my subscription.

I suppose it could be worse. Mine lists as ending on Feb 27 2017.

A credit toward Pyramid or Warehouse 23 digital titles seems like a good way to be fair to customers with unusable JTAS credit. A general credit (that would apply to hard-copy materials too) would be more than fair.

Personally, however, I would have liked the opportunity to sign up for JTAS after the expiration of the licensing agreement just so I could download all the back catalog of JTAS articles to read them off-line, even if I didn't get any credit for unused time.
