Because I'm seeing 2d-1 swing for my ST 13, and Katana is sw + 1. With Weapon master I'm doing sw+5 with the katana, -1 from my strength, making it 2d+4.

ST13 2d-1
Two hand Swing is sw+2 cut (B.274)

So that 2d+1 cut

Weapon bond pushed you to DX+2 with your mom's katanta on two handed and that +2 per die.

hence 2d+5 cut
