The armadillo fails its will roll to recover from stunning
Haley looks around for a stick some more, but doesn't see one Arlon charges up his lightning blast to 10d6 and shouts "keep it stunned for me! Its vicious!" Halcyone climbs to the top of the portal frame, where she can reach the ceiling. I'm going to guess rule on the ceiling is a -5. (Halcyone has skill 18) Vassarious tries to descalate the situation while the armadillo recovers.

I suppose Vassarious isn't going change tactics just because the armadillo was stunned for anther second.
And it rolls 13 and remains stunned. Its will is 12, I swear I didn't think the stun would be this effective. Halcyone is above the armadillo, ready to drop down when ready. Haley still hasn't found anything. she might be ready to give up the search Arlon extends his charged up finder and a bolt of lightening hits the armadillo. Rolled damage is 20 (on 10d6-10), but armor absorbs 8 of the damage (organic armor is rather useful against lightening.) That's still 12 damage, but that's only a barely a major wound. The armadillo succeeds against the stunning roll from damage, but not from electricity. It now has to succeed at both HT and Will to become unstunned. Arlon has spent most of his mana on the spell.

Vassarious is content to observe unless there is an unexpected development. They feel that destroying this beast was likely unnecessary.
