(IC) Lost In Dreams [Peter]

Kumar grimly nods.

Peter walks into the village. There is some outcry, but then a woman rushes up to him, and the child squirms to get out of his arms. After that, he gets lots of looks, but there isn't much hostility, and kumar joins him. They're able to get some food -- the village didn't have much to trade, as the soldiers took a lot of it, but Kumar and Peter got the little food they did for free, and it was cooked by someone who knew what they were doing.

There is a full week of travel more, then they arrive at the headquarters for the Miracle workers. They are challenged by a guard on their way in. He seems to know exactly who they are. Peter is separated from Kumar, and shown a tent to wait in. Kumar is led off to talk to who-ever is in charge.

Peter scratches Goliath behind the ears and plays with the big dog a bit, trying to distract himself from thinking too much about how much trouble he and Kumar might be in...

Goliath is getting lazy and mostly just wanting belly rubs when a woman he's never met pops into the tent.

"Hey, I know about what you are. Lets get out of here."

Peter looks up from Goliath's belly rubs and considers the newcomer.

(( Sensitive - Does he get a feel from her? Does he detect she may be less than truthful? ))

"What the heck... why not."

Peter and the massive dog get to their feet.

"So, What am I? And what's your name?"

She is sincerely concerned but not telling him everything.

"My name is Olivia Kohar. Luisa told me all about you. Slip out the back of the tent and I'll meet you on the other side. Give it 30 seconds before you leave. "

Peter does a slow count to 30, and sneaks out of the tent, holding the edge up for Goliath to follow.

Peter finds olivia waiting on the other side.

"We'll get you to another camp. You should be safe there."

Peter notices that olivia is watching him very intently.

Peter follows Olivia's lead... "So what can you tell me about my, umn, 'condition'?"

As they travel, Peter continues to pump her for information.

"So you know about me... but I don't know anything about you. Why are you doing this?"

"That remains to be seen. We're removing you from immediate danger first."

"I'm doing this because its the right thing to do. I didn't become a miracle worker to go sight seeing. Luisa told the higher ups you guys split up because he wanted to stay in a village and train folks, so you have nothing to worry about on that angle. First we'll get you out of your immediate situation, then we'll figure out what to do next."

As Peter asks more and more questions, she continues to give evasive answers. Peter is good at talking info out of people, and he figures that she may know less than she is claiming to. She's mentioned Luisa and seems to be working with her. Its not too far to a vehicle, which is manned by another woman.

"Any complications?" "None." "Good work".

They start driving through the forest.

Once he's in the vehicle and they're moving, the driver says "we'll explain everything when we get to the other camp."

Once Peter is satisfied he's gotten all the information he's going to get, he tries to enjoy the ride. He sings softly to pass the time as he looks out the window at the landscape.
