Innkeeper's Quest: A GURPS Dungeon Fantasy Forum Quest

Six months ago I floated the idea of running a Dungeon Fantasy forum quest. Over the weekend, I finally decided to pull the trigger. I wound up deciding to host it in the safe-for-work section of Questionable Questing—partly for the sake of a primary audience familiar with forum quests, partly for the sake of slightly looser form rules (though I do want to try to keep the quest broadly accessible content-wise). So I bring you: Innkeeper's Quest: A GURPS Dungeon Fantasy forum quest.

As in tabletop roleplaying, the protagonists are controlled by the players and the rest of the world is controlled by the Quest Master, but in a Quest there is usually only a single protagonist, with every player calling out potential actions. A "player" in this sense is simply anyone who visits the thread that the Quest is taking place in, with the playerbase as a whole collectively deciding the actions of their shared character. The QM has the liberty of interpreting these commands as they wish, whether they take the one with the most votes, combine every non-conflicting input, or use the one that they feel would best serve the story.

Genuinely hoping that, as things get going, people will write-in some truly crazy plans for me to adjudicate. Or just show up and vote on ideas supplied by me and other participants. Either way, see you there!
