Druids "eagle eye" ability clarity

When using the eagle eye ability and your a druid. Do you get to choose the order to return the cards you look at? If not then what would be a good use case for this ability?

No. I do not think you can switch the order of the cards. It you could, it would say so in the ability.
I would use the ability to look at the door deck before kicking down the door. That way I could prepare my equipment for whatever the cards are, and maybe decide between looting the room or looking for trouble.
